Registration is one of the important aspects which has to be considered when one is going in for a purchase of a vehicle either new or used.

Proper and accurate paper work are the main essentials for a vehicles sale / purchase to be completed. Here are some of the essentials required....

New Cars
	Application duly signed by the buyer and the financer (in cases of hire purchase) ------ Form 20.
	Sale certificate ------ Form 21.
	Form 22 with chassis print.
	Pan proof or I.T. acknowledgement or Form 60 in cases of non filing of I.T.
	Insurance of vehicle.
	Address proof of owner of vehicle. (any one of these :- Telephone bill, Electricity bill, Passport zerox).
	Letter to RTO from financer (In case of hire purchase).
	In case of company registration ---- Showroom letter and company letter to RTO.
	Pay Order for OTT taxes, Registration fees & Agents Service Charges

Used Cars
	Form 28 (signed by seller) ---- 3 forms.
	From 29 (signed by seller and buyer) ----- 2 forms.
	From 30 (signed by seller and buyer).
	T.C.R. form to be signed by seller.
	T.C.A. Form to signed by buyer.
	Residence proof -----(any one :- Telephone bill, Electricity bill, Passport xerox or Voter Id.).
	Valid insurance policy .
	Original R.C. / Tax Book (if Applicable).
	Chasis imprint (3 imprints).
	Form 33 (Change of address).
	Letter to R.T.O. (in case of hypothecation).
	Form 34 (in case of hypothecation).
	Registration fees & Agents Service Charges

Formalities for cancellation of hypothecation
	Original R.C. book or Form 23.
	Valid Insurance copy.
	Letter to R.T.O. (and insurance __________) from finance company.
	Form 35 duly signed by customer and finance company.
	Form 35 duly signed by customer and finance company.
